You will be collected from your hotel in the morning at 9:00 AM and be driven to Kariandusi Prehistoric site arriving at 10:00 PM.
Activity:
Arrive at Kariandusi, located near Lake Elmenteita. This archaeological site is known for its abundance of Acheulean hand axes and cleavers, which are evidence of early toolmaking from approximately 1 million years ago.
Duration:
Allow 1.5 to 2 hours to explore the site and learn about the human presence in the area during the Stone Age.
Lunch (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM)
Activity:
After visiting Kariandusi, your guide will assist you to find a local eatery or if you have packed picnic lunch, you may enjoy it as you transition to your next destination. Or you can wait and have it at the green fields at the Castle.
Afternoon (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM): Lord Egerton Castle
Activity:
Drive to the Lord Egerton Castle, located off the Nakuru-Kisumu highway. Explore the castle grounds and learn about the history of the manor and the family.
Take a guided tour to learn about the castle's history, admire the architecture, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Itinerary
Day 1 Nairobi to Maasai Mara
You'll be picket up in the morning from your Nairobi hotel or the airport and be driven to the Maasai Mara National Reserve with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint for photos. You'll arrive in time for lunch at your camp. After your meal, you'll proceed on a late afternoon game drive in the reserve to spot wildlife. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
Day 2 Full day Maasai Mara Exploration
Have an early morning breakfast, followed by a full-day game drive with packed picnic lunch to explore the expansive plains and the Mara River searching for the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo), cheetahs, zebras, and wildebeest are also common to spot. In the evening, you'll have an optional visit to a local Maasai village at an extra cost. After that return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, depart from the Maasai Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park with an
en route lunch or upon arrival at your accommodation near the park. In the afternoon, proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive. Lake Nakuru is known for its flamingos and as a sanctuary for both black and white rhinos. Your dinner and overnight will be at a camp or hotel near Lake Nakuru.
Day 4 Lake Nakuru National Park to Nairobi
On this day, you'll have your breakfast early then check out and proceed for your final morning game drive at Lake Nakuru before your departure for Nairobi. You'll arrive at Nairobi in the afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
